The AutomationSurgeon's Inbound Local Authority Engine

Version 1.0
Owner Founder
Trigger Business launch, expansion into new geographic markets, monthly marketing review.
Purpose To formalize the strategy for generating high-quality, inbound leads from local search queries (e.g., "M365 Migration Law Firm Atlanta") by establishing a dominant presence on Google Business Profile (GBP).

1. Strategic Context

This protocol augments the core SEO strategy (SOP-31) by focusing on local authority—a critical channel for capturing highly specific, high-intent searches from the Professional Services and Healthcare ICPs.

1.1. Primary Objective

Secure a top 3 ranking in the Google Local Pack for target keywords ("Email Deliverability Expert [City]," "Microsoft Partner Law Firms").

1.2. Keywords & Positioning

  • Business Name: AutomationSurgeon - Microsoft Partner for Law Firms (Using the specialized title for maximum SEO relevance).
  • Category: Computer Consultant, Business Automation Service, IT Consultant.
  • Service Areas: Global (US, Canada, UK, Australia) to reflect remote service model, but content focuses on local ICP pain points.

2. Google Business Profile (GBP) Setup

2.1. Initial Configuration Checklist

  • [ ] Verification: Complete phone or postcard verification (mandatory).
  • [ ] Business Name: Use the full, optimized name.
  • [ ] Primary Category: Select the most relevant category.
  • [ ] Service Areas: Define all remote areas served (e.g., US, Canada, etc.).
  • [ ] Hours: Mark as "Always Open" or reflect founder availability for global clients.
  • [ ] Website Link: Use the primary website URL.
  • [ ] Business Description: Use all 750 characters, weaving in key phrases: Microsoft Partner (ID: 7036966), Law Firms, Healthcare, Email Deliverability, M365 Migrations.

2.2. Service Listing Optimization

List services as fixed-price solutions, mirroring the Tier 1 Treatments in SOP-01.

Mandatory Listings: - Email Deliverability Fix for Law Firms ($1,000-$1,500) - HIPAA-Compliant M365 Migration ($2,000-$5,000) - SharePoint Document Management for Case Files ($2,000-$3,000) - Free Email/Security Audit (The Door Opener)

3. Content & Activity Strategy (Monthly Execution)

3.1. Weekly GBP Posts (10 Minutes/Week)

Goal: Maintain freshness and push relevant keywords.

Format: Rotate between Case Study Teaser (referencing SOP-34), Educational Content (from SOP-20 blog posts), and Seasonal Urgency (Tax Season, Year-End Compliance).

Content: Must include the primary keyword "Microsoft Partner," "Law Firm," or "Healthcare," and a specific metric (e.g., "94% Inbox Delivery").

CTA: Must link to the "Book Free Diagnostic Call" Calendly link.

3.2. Photo Management (Quarterly Review)

  • [ ] Add Photos: Use professional photos of Anton (The Founder), the Microsoft Partner badge, and anonymized workflow/dashboard screenshots.
  • [ ] Geo-Tagging: Ensure photos are correctly tagged (internal process) to establish "local" relevance.

4. Review Generation Protocol (The Authority Multiplier)

Reviews are the single biggest factor for local ranking. This integrates the social proof process (SOP-34).

4.1. Review Request Timing

Trigger: Immediately after the final follow-up email (Day 14, SOP-03) confirms successful Tier 1 Treatment completion.

Method: Provide the direct, personalized Google Review Link.

4.2. Request Script

Content: "We are so glad [Firm/Practice] is enjoying the new [Email setup/M365 Migration]. Would you mind leaving a quick, honest review on our Google Business Profile? It really helps other [Law Firms/Dental Practices] who are dealing with [specific pain point] find a verified Microsoft Partner. Here is the direct link: [Google Review Link]. Thank you!"

4.3. Review Response Strategy

All Reviews (Positive and Negative): Must be responded to within 48 hours.

Response Tone: Professional, grateful, and repeat the main service keyword and the client's industry (e.g., "Thank you, [Name]! We are thrilled we could resolve your Email Deliverability issues for your Law Firm.").

5. Performance Monitoring

Monthly Check: Review GBP Insights (Views, Searches, Actions).

Action Trigger: If the profile is getting high views but low actions (calls/website clicks), immediately review and refine the Business Description and Services Content for clarity and compelling CTAs.

Ranking: Track ranking for 3-5 primary local keywords to measure success.
